Private Lessons
We specialize in offering private lessons to students in grades 3 - 12. We offer lessons at different levels. Whether the student has never played before and just wants an introduction to the game one time, or has played for years and wants to advance to the next level, we have instructors who can help.
ABOUT US
WHAT: We provide opportunities to learn and play chess. These opportunities come in the form of lessons, camps, tournaments, and leagues.

WHO: All ages are welcome, although we specialize in youth ages 8-16 and adults
WHERE: Pittsburgh suburbs. Due to COVID, the only in person sessions are being held in the North Pittsburgh branch, serving the communities of Wexford, McCandless and North Hills and their school districts Pine-Richland, North Allegheny, and North Hills. The North Pittsburgh branch is curently accepting players from all areas of Western Pennsylvania.
WHEN: All lessons, leagues and camps are by appointment only at this time.
WHY: We believe in providing opportunities to play chess either as a life-long pasttime or . For youth, studies have shown the numerous benefits throughout life from learning and playing chess
